You only live life once...

Too many times, we take our lives for granted. Too many a times, we take the people around us for granted. But when things change, when things go away, when things are not the same anymore, when we miss an opportunity and regret, that's the time we then wish we could turn back the clock.

Life only comes once. Live it love it enjoy it and Treasure it.

Today we had album recording at church, I felt so blessed and felt so moved. I was at the front near the stage. My heart felt so happy and warmed because of everyone praising him. At the end of the day, it's seeing the generation changed and coming together as ONE because of God's love and presence in our life.

I am encouraged to draw more and more closer to God and live for him.

It's my MUM'S BIRTHDAY

I am currently listening to these Korean songs that I listened to, when I first was in Melbourne. It reminded me of those days.

God has been great. God is a good God. He has blessed me with great people and family around me, especially my Mum and Dad.

My mum is awesome.
I actually am going to write about both of them, as I haven't wrote about my Dad on his birthday which was on August 14th.

My parents are people that is inspiring and a role model in many ways.

My mum loves her daughter so much. Her daughter is blessed and thankful. My mum would go all out for me just to put that smile on my face. That big wide SMILE.

My mum would do so much for me in every area, making sure I am alright, praying for me every night, making sure I have enough of money even though we are tight. I love her...

She is the best Mum. Thank you for being a great mum.

Dear Dad

Thank you for being a great dad too. Thank you for waking up so early and sending me to school. Thank you accompanying to golf even in the early mornings. Thank you for picking me up during my trainings and sending me to tournaments in the early morning and picking me up even though it's a hour trip one way or sometimes even longer. Thank you dad.
Thank you for calling me and showing your love to me.

Thank you Dad for praying for me too. Thank you for your big daddy talks. =)

Each day, do you sometimes hear little voices in your head? I do.

and it will tell you all sorts of things

like...

you are not good enough...

you are in a mess

there are so many people better than you

wake up, your dreams will not come true

you are not going to do well in your studies, and possibly failing

you are useless

you are not capable

you are not going to do well for your exams

God is not going to help you

God doesn't care about you

God cares about him or her more

They are all lies... Yes there maybe times where there is room for improvement but we are not what our voices say.

This is the truth:

We are made in God's image. Genesis 1:27

We are his treasured possession.

Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine. Exodus 19:5

God made us

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13

We are not alone, God is our comforter

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. ⁴ He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

When we are hurt and sad, God is with us

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18

We are fearfully and wonderfully made

In Psalms, it says
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. Psalms 139:14

We are his beautiful creation


"The King is enthralled by your beauty, honor Him for He is your God." Psalm 45:11


"For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10

"Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good!" Genesis 1:31

The voices that say we are hopeless, useless, not capable are ALL LIES...

We are NOT HOPELESS. We are capable. We are beautiful, we are not alone. GOD IS WITH US EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. We will do well in our exams and assignments. We will pass it in FLYING COLOURS. We are not in a mess because the old has gone and new has come.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2
Corinthians 5:17

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Phillipians 4:13

It's time to say to the those negative voices in our head: ENOUGH OF THESE LIES... I am a beautiful creation of Christ and I can do all things through him. The old has GONE and the new has come... WHO AM I? a child of God who is precious in every way.
